this way to beach ==>

this week gave us a few hot days and ben was not going to miss an opportunity to go to the beach on this holiday so off we went!

actually his words were "on wednesday i'm going to the beach - you can come if you want..."
so eamon, mum and i kind of tagged along...

it turned out be eamon's very first beach sand + sea water experience! he LOVED the sand, especially the way it squished between his little fingers - surprisingly, he didn't eat any of it!
the water came as a bit of a shock but it wasn't long before he got used to it and had a bit of play with daddy.

a gorgeous day and one that we will not easily forget given that the water was so clear and blue and lovely :)
