a spring in your step

we've made it! winter is over and spring has finally arrived!

to celebrate the return of long sunny days and lovely balmy nights i took some outdoorsy shots of the girl next door... harper d. :)

she was having as much fun on the swing as i was, taking photos with the beautiful big sun behind her... hooray for warmer weather!

a warm friend in winter

a few weekends ago we spent a little time in the southern city of hobart.

hobart has a bit of reputation for being cold.

however - although it was only a mere twelve degrees (!) that day, the sun was quite sunny (so we could still have lots of fun that was funny heehee... thanks to dr. seuss i have many lines like this floating about in my head.)

anyway we had a very pleasant day exploring on foot. eamon did the very unusual thing of falling asleep in the pram so that was a bonus :)

little paradise

hello again! (still no baby for all those waiting by the phone/sending me hintful sms messages!)

instead here are some reminiscences of the little gem we have in our backyard - that is, coles bay.

only a couple of hours drive from launceston it is a truly beautiful place. people come from all over the world to check it out and yet we so often take it for granted. we had a magical few days there soaking up the sun and staring at the blue blue water. it was still a little too cold for me to swim - just goes to show how un-tasmanian i am! x

...and loving it! this picture clearly explains my absence over the last week or so - we had a lovely break in coles bay. the weather put on its best and we didn't do much else apart from lazing around on the beach. it was extremely difficult to leave! ...more coles bay pics to follow :)
